Capstone on Winning Team to Support the Joint Multinational Training Command (JMTC) in Europe
On July 21, 2011, the government announced that the team of Tapestry, SAIC, Capstone, and Metro Productions was awarded the Battle Simulation Training Contract in support of the Joint Multinational Training Center, Grafenwoehr, Germany. The Joint Multinational Training Command is the United States Army Europe (USAREUR) Executive Agent for battle command training, constructive and gaming simulations in United States Army Europe. The JMTC supports Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) Training and Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MRE) and facilitates Joint, Combined, NATO, International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Troop Contributing Nations (TCN), coalition training, and Service Component commander, staff and leader constructive simulation training from platoon to Combined/Joint Task Force (C/JTF). JMSC trains USAREUR personnel to use Army Battle Command Systems; manages USAREUR constructive simulation training resources; and contributes to theater engagement strategy at hub, spoke and remote locations. Capstone will play a major role in this contract, providing Simulations Analysts, Intelligence Analysts, and Observer/Controllers in support of the USAREUR Joint Multinational Simulation Center, Grafenwoehr, Germany, and the Leader Development Center, Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels, Germany. Capstone will also staff and manage the Battle Command Training Center Spoke in Vicenza, Italy. This contract will be managed by Mike Hawrylak, Director, Land and Joint Operations.
