Capstone Wins CNIC Portfolio Management Task

April 23, 2014 | Capstone Wins Information Technology Task to support Logistics Functional Area Manager Program and Portfolio Management Activities

Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) awarded a competitive task order to Capstone to continue managing both the application/system portfolio and applications, networks, databases and systems in the Logistics Functional Area Manager Program. Specifically, Capstone provides analytical, technical, and management support to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), conducting project management and Department of Navy Application Data Management System (DADMS)/Department of Defense Information Technology Portfolio Repository (DITPR-DON) support to CNIC.

"Winning this follow-on task reflects the quality of our staff executing this work and the confidence CNIC's CIO has in our ability to manage their application portfolio," said Dan Fox, Capstone's Director for Strategy, Plans and Operations.

The award was made under the Program Management Oversight Services multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which provides program management, engineering, and logistics services. Capstone is one of six prime contractors supporting this Navy contract.
