Capstone Continues IT Hardware and Software Support
April 30, 2014 | Capstone Continues Headquarters Tier II Information Technology Support Task in Support of Commander, Navy Installations Command.
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (Philadelphia Office) awarded a competitive task order to Capstone to continue Headquarters Tier II Information Technology Support in support of the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). Specifically, Capstone provides Tier II Information Technology support for hardware and software to sustain all IT equipment, to include Personal Computers (PCs), printers, video teleconferencing (VTC) units, portable computers, air cards, and blackberries.
"Capstone is very proud of this contract win; it is the final of three task orders in support of this customer that manage. By winning all three task orders, we show the quality of our work force supporting the CNIC CIO and the customer's satisfaction with their performance," says Dan Fox, Director of Security, Plans and Operations and Program Manager for the umbrella IDIQ contract.
The award was made under the Program Management Oversight Services multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which provides program management, engineering, and logistics services. Capstone is one of six prime contractors supporting this Navy contract.
