Capstone to Provide Information Assurance Solutions to CNIC

Aug 6, 2014 | Capstone Wins Task to Secure and Protect IT Assets for CNIC. Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC)awarded a new task order to Capstone Corporation to provide information assurance services and security operations center support. Capstone, along with teammate Harris IT Corporation, will perform technical research and analysis, support certification and accreditation efforts, conduct compliance visits and risk assessments, provide security testing and maintenance, and assess vulnerabilities across IT assets for Navy facilities worldwide.

Dan Fox, Capstone’s Director of Operations said, “Our mission is to provide a secure and protective environment for CNIC by implementing effective IA security services while maintaining the integrity, availability and confidentiality of the Navy’s IT assets.”

The award was made under the Program Management Oversight Services multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which provides program management, engineering, and logistics services. Capstone is one of six prime contractors supporting this Navy contract.
