Capstone to Support the Navy Common Access Card Program

Aug 27, 2014 | Capstone Wins Common Access Card (CAC) Program Task to Provide Centralized Control, Management, and Sustainment for the CNIC CAC Program. Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) awarded a competitive task order to Capstone to support the U.S. Navy’s CNIC Common Access Card (CAC) Program Management Office (PMO) in Pensacola, FL. Capstone will provide onsite management to plan and implement enterprise smart card technology, configuration management support, life cycle documentation, and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) services for CNIC CAC applications.

CEO Richard White states, “Capstone brings a long history of proven-effective technical support to CNIC N6, including supporting the N65 and the CAC PMO, and will continue to provide the highest quality support to all levels of the CNIC organization.”

The award was made under the Program Management Oversight Services multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which provides program management, engineering, and logistics services. Capstone is one of six prime contractors supporting this Navy contract.
