Capstone to Provide Portfolio and Asset Management Support

Sep 22, 2014 | Capstone Wins Task to Perform Portfolio Management Activities and Hardware and Software Asset Management for Service Navy Data Centers.

Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) awarded a competitive task order to Capstone Corporation to provide analytical, technical, and management support for Portfolio Management and the Service Delivery Point (SDP) Asset Management activities at CNIC data centers/hosting sites in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA. Capstone will provide the full range of services to conduct asset inventory, maintain licensing agreements, and provide information technology (IT) subject matter expertise in managing portfolios of CNIC applications, systems, and networks.

Capstone offers a thorough understanding of CNIC IT applications and data management policy, planning, guidance, and metrics, gained through directly relevant support provided for the past three years. “This award to support the CNIC Chief Information Officer reflects our long standing commitment to excellence supporting the CNIC Information Technology enterprise,” said CEO, Richard White.

The award was made under the Program Management Oversight Services multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which provides program management, engineering, and logistics services. Capstone is one of six prime contractors supporting this Navy contract.
