Capstone Wins First JFDSS Task Order

January 8, 2015 Capstone Wins Task Order Award to Support the Military Secretariat (MILSEC) and Resources and Acquisition Management Office (RAMO) in the Joint Staff Joint Force Development (J7)

Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Philadelphia Contracting Officer awarded a competitive task order to Capstone Corporation to support the Military Secretariat (MILSEC), the Resources and Acquisition Management Office (RAMO), and the Joint Staff Director for Joint Force Development, the Vice Director and the Chief of Staff. The MILSEC supports the Joint Staff Action Program, and the recruitment, staffing, performance management, and strength management for 400 civilian and 300 military personnel assigned to the Directorate. The RAMO provides financial management and acquisition support for the Directorate.

Capstone CEO Rich White comments, “This is a significant award for Capstone. It is our first competitive award under our Joint Force Development Support Services contract and reflects our ability to offer quality services in the training environment in a very competitive market.”

The award was made under the Joint Force Development Support Services (JFDSS) contract, a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract which provides training and concept development services to OSD P&R, Joint Staff, Combatant Commanders, and Services.
