The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Philadelphia Contracting Office awarded a competitive task order to Capstone Corporation to support the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Exercise Program. Capstone’s support requirements include implementing the Chairman’s Exercise Program, supporting the Chairman and the Director of Joint Force Development (J7) training and exercise requirements, supporting the development and planning of interagency and multinational participation in U.S. Military joint exercises, and coordinating Joint Staff/Department of Defense involvement in national exercise forums.

Richard White, Capstone’s CEO, stated that “This task puts Capstone on the leading edge of U.S. Department of Defense exercise policy and implementation.”  In addition, he adds, “We play a critical role in Department of Defense involvement in both national federal exercises and multinational partner exercises at the strategic and operational level.”

The award was made under the Joint Force Development Support Services (JFDSS) contract, a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract which provides training and concept development services to OSD P&R, Joint Staff, Combatant Commanders, and Services.
