Capstone to Support J7 Service Joint Training Division
January 16, 2015 Capstone Wins Task Order to Support the Service Joint Training Division in the Joint Staff Joint Force Development Directorate (J7)
Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Philadelphia Contracting Office awarded a competitive task order to Capstone Corporation to support the Service Joint Training Division (SJTD) in the Joint Staff (JS) Joint Force Development Directorate (J7). JS/J7 is the primary organization charged with supporting and executing the mission of the joint force developer to meet present and future training requirements and to develop joint training capabilities for the Joint Training Enterprise (JTE). JS/J7 accomplishes this mission by supporting the Services and Combatant Commands in their preparation for, and execution of, global joint and combined training. Within the JS/J7 the SJTD manages and executes the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) mission with a special focus on tactical and operational level training done at the Service and SOCOM training programs.
In support of SJTD Capstone will provide direct support to Service and US Special Operations Command Joint Training programs by providing technical support to execute the JNTC Accreditation, Certification and Mitigation (ACM) Program; manage the JNTC Liaison Program; and provide direct, on-site and regional joint training support for Service programs at multiple sites.
“This award is significant in that it allows us to support every Service Training Center aligned with the JNTC,” Capstone CEO Rich White comments. “Not only will we support the accreditation, certification and mitigation efforts for these training centers, but we will be able to coordinate the execution of training and exercise programs to enhance the training experience.”
The award was made under the Joint Force Development Support Services (JFDSS) contract, a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract which provides training and concept development services to the Office of the Secretary of Defense Personnel and Readiness, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commanders, and the Services.
Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, Capstone provides integrated technical solutions and services to U.S. Government agencies in training and exercises; strategy, plans and operations; and information technology in more than 20 U.S. states and several overseas locations.
