Capstone Continues Air and Port Operations Analytic Support

Aug 13, 2015 Capstone Wins Task Order Award to Continue Air and Port Operations Analytics for Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC)

Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Philadelphia Contracting Office awarded a competitive task order to Capstone Corporation to continue its support to analyze Navy air and port operations mission requirements, alternatives for fulfilling the requirements, and the costs/benefits of the alternatives through the use of operations research modeling, simulation, and group decision conferencing techniques.

“Selection to continue supporting this task reflects the confidence and trust of our customers in our ability to manage a complex model to provide required air and port operations assessments,” States Capstone Senior Vice President for Growth John McNally. “Our team has developed and managed this model for several years now, enabling the Navy to make informed decisions to resource air and port operations across the enterprise.”

The award was made under the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Program Management Oversight Services (PMOS) contract, a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract which provides Omnibus services and solutions across the CNIC enterprise. Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, Capstone provides training, operations and advanced information technical solutions and services to the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and Federal Agencies in more than 20 U.S. states and several overseas locations.
