Lisa Carr

Position Director, Support Services

Lisa Carr is the Director of Support Services for Capstone Corporation, based in Alexandria, Virginia.  Incorporated in 1986, Capstone provides integrated technical solutions and services to U.S. Government agencies in training and exercises; strategy, plans and operations; and information technology. The work is performed in over 20 states and multiple oversea locations. 

Mrs. Carr brings over 20 years of experience in various Human Resources functions to include: Employee Relations, Benefits, Recruiting/Staffing, Compensation, and Process Improvement.  She brings 15 years in managing various administration functions to include: Facilities, IT Support, Payroll and Subcontract Management. Mrs. Carr joined the Capstone Team in 2004 and became the HR Director in 2007.  She has primary responsibility for management of all Human Resources functions and capabilities.  As the corporation’s expert on labor and compensation issues, she is a key contributor to the corporation’s bid pricing and employee classification strategies.  She also serves as primary contact for all employee/legal disputes.  

Prior to joining Capstone, Ms. Carr was the Manager of Administrative Services and Board Corporate Secretary for Turner, Harper & Associates, Inc. and was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources and Corporate Administrative functions. She also was Manager, Government Operations Administrative Services for TDS Healthcare Systems Corporation (Eclipsys Corp.) a leading healthcare information systems provider.

She holds the designation of Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
